Hi all,
A question for those in the know -
Can someone please identify the boxes atop the cab roof of the front end loaders, as per attached pic's.
To my eye, it appears to be an additional cooling system as the open frame has what looks like two electric or hydraulic powered fans mounted - which I assume is additional engine cooling.

also noticed the same thing on some Cat D8T's

Many thanks to any responses and info.

Probably just a/c units for the cab/operator - those things can get pretty hot in there.

Cheers for the input Jim.
Just seems a bit strange having an additional A/C unit, especially as the 924's come with A/C as standard, and having driven 924's for the last 10 years I can vouch that these units work very well.

The plot thickens

Cheers, response as per previous message .
Nice find with the AM parts - just a pity I'm working in 1/50th at the moment .
