Hi Gang,
for those who like a challenge, here`s a possible solution for the Bomblet armor on Panzerhaubitze 2000. Just use HO scale bottle crates and make your own silicon molds.

Good idea!
I was thinking 3D printing might be a viable option as well?
Cheers,
Christophe

Hmmm.... making the data set for 3D printing might be time consuming = expensive?

Making the data file is easy enough (with the right measurements) - the difficulty is paying for the print! Shapeways charges based on the volume of the item in cubic cms, so your armour might cost more than the plastic kit...

Not a problem, I have many resin conversions that are way more expensive that the kits they are designed for.
As long as it stays within the 50/60$ range I'd say it's OK, there is not that much material involved.
Cheers,
Christophe

I'd have to see about measuring the kit in my stash. I've grabbed lots of pics from the Web, but cannot find any real measurements of the blocks (or the rubber "bristles"), so would have to "eyeball" them and design them to fit the spaces on the kit.
