Started on this chap

The base is almost done. I am planning to make a can of glue + brush which will be placed on the recruitment poster to complete the ground work. The rest of the ground work is made with placard and a scriber.

As always comments & critiques are welcomed

Hi Benjamin,

Really nice work so far. The Tommy's War figures are really excellent, unfortunately for me just the wrong scale.

The putties tended to be brown in colour, although I do believe some left over from the Boar War were buff. Look here, so that could be modellers choice.

The webbing should be a lighter green or buff depending on unit.

There are lots of on line pics for reference.

Really excellent work so far.

Very good work Benjamin, the webbing looks excellent, not sure about the green putties though and the buckles on the canteen and haversack would have been brass to the best of my knowledge.

Cheers
