Gunny,
Was wondering if you were able to find any referances on M-123 as I wrote about earlier? Just got the Revell 5-ton wrecker this weekend and it looks to be a good starting point for the suspension and running gear. Any thoughts?

Yes, Gino.

I wouldn't recommend starting out with the Italeri 5-ton to buildup into a M123 unless you're really into self-abuse - there's so much to do that you'd be better off starting from scratch. Since you've got a hold of the Revell Wrecker, that's a good place to start for the frame and chassis components.

Gunny,
What do you think about clean-up the revell cab, or should I go with stretching an M 35 cab?

Clean up the Revell Cab in this case, I'd recommend...
