From a recent post about KT side skirts... notice these pics.
Of all the so-called "first Tigers to enter combat near Leningrad", these pics reflect what I have always seen - no side skirts, dual-pistol ports, no Feifels, no turret stowage box - or non-standard boxes - like a PzIII box or "custom" box on the side of the turret...
The turret escape hatch, S-minen, skirts, Feifels, cable-placement and such, stowage box - were all mods that appeared at various stages in the Tiger I production life from "lessons learned" from the "initials" in combat.
