Going out the door for the holidays, so my deadline is now. Here are the final two pics I have of the 4 entries and the Diorama. Yup, the dio is not completely finished, but you get the idea from it, and I don't think it would take more than a couple of hours to make it presentable...just don;'t have the time left.

Final tally:

Hemmt based guntruck mod
LAV-C
M115A1
T-62BDD (conversion)

and the dio.

enjoy the pics, I will make more comments on here is a few days, from another (gasp!) computer, of course. Build against you in 2004 though!

P.S. Who is the Major Rob character anyway?

What a cool display Jacques. I havent really followed this group build as modern armor, or sci-fi/future armor for that matter, is not my thing, but these vehicles are stunning! Not sure what they are but I recognise the main bodies. The Oshkosh (?) at the front is a real stunner and my personal favourite is the field tent behind the LAV. Scratchbuilt? This is something I must find out more about.
I love the "major Robīs Motor pool" building. Lovely touch. Methinks Iīll have to investigate some of the threads to find out more. Cant wait to see all the T2K armor assembled in one place.

Jacques,

Awesome, totally Awesome! The vehicles came out great, and the setting is fantastic.

I don't know if I'll finish mine, but yours is truly a masterpiece!

Best regards,
Chris

BRAVO Jacques. These are fantastic. The HEMTT is wild The weathering and paint is up to your surperb standards. The LAVC is great also. The attached command tent is very realistic. What did you use to make it? Is is Tissue? The M-115A1 and the converted T62 are also awesome. Way to go Bro!!Three cheers

Well, I finally have arrived at a dependable computer...

answers:

The M115A1 is not a "real" conversion. It is a LAV-25 turret and a Tamiya M113 FSV (yup, the australian vehicle) It was a proposed, but unproduced vehicle inthe real world that were included in the T2K universe.

The command tent behind the LAV-C is indeed tissue paper and plastic rod. I built it with the same general "skeleton" as the real deal, and then draped white glue drenched tissue's over it...it took some doing, but it looks ok now. Needs a bit of weathering though...

Thanks for the compliments on the whole deal, I had hoped to have it all done by the first, but with the holidays, illness, and general life around holidays, what you see is what i finished. At least I can finish the Dio pretty easy for 2004.

Now we need everyone else inthe campaign to "show off" in a few days.
