Kinetic brings us the first kit of the International MaxxPro in plastic. With their new 4x4 MRAP kit, they definitely bring descent quality for an affordable price that will build into a very nice model.

Thanks for the informative review, Gino.. really sounds like a very nice kit, not withstanding the minor problem of the sink holes. Mine seems to be stuck at airport customs here for some reason.. God knows when they'll release it

I saw this build on FB and it doesn't seem to have the sink holes.. or is it just the lighting?

Thanks for posting teh review Darren. It looks like it will build up nicely.

Hisham - I think the sink marks are still on the sides, just not as noticable from that angle. Here is another pic off the Facebook page you linked to. You can still see them faintly behind each side window in this pic.

I think once painted, they will be even harder to see.

“Kinetic’s intent is to provide a simple and easy to build kit with an affordable price tag. Therefore, some of the design and details may not fit the 1/35th scale master modeler sector.”

I think they have achieved their aim. While there are some flaws i think in general, for the likes of me who want to do modern vehicles at a reasonable price, this is a great kit. Lots of detail on the interior and exterior and 98% of the parts very well engineered. The parts are clean, the fit is excellent and the instructions are clear in most places.

Kinetic: stick to your intent and continue to bring us up-to-date modern vehicles.

Thank you Kinetic and thank you Gino for the review
