My Marine Corps League Detachment asked me to make a diorama that will be displayed in the New Jersey Viet Nam Museum I saw one made by Steve Zelenski and asked his permission to reproduce it He said okay and I hope I can do it justice It is about the U.S, Marines 1/5 retaking The Citadel in Hue during Tet Here's the start

Hi Thomas,
i suppose you are referring to Steven Zuleski and his famous diorama!?
Definitely not an easy task, as Steven has done a brilliant job!
Now, regarding your posting:
Apart from the rather poor quality of the photos, I wonder if your proportions are fitting!
Steven's gate (entrance) is a lot bigger, and I'd say his measurements are not far off the original!
Also the overall shape seems a tad compressed, when compared to Steven's diorama.
From the little I can see I wonder if the bricks are big enough!? What did you use???
Cheers
Romain

Tom, ya killin me man. Actually I'm not far from you, just far west, "Great White North", north of Spokane. HA!
Thomas, keep "Ruckin" Bro. You already know what you gotta do and you're heading in the right direction. Keep it rollin and contact me as before if you need guidance, MHI site.
Suggestion; try to locate The American Legion "Vietnam, Tet Offensive" video series. Tons of really pertinent info in those vids alone. I ran the videos on my comp, froze the frame, copied the pics and plastered them all over my model bunker in an attempt to capture every detail. History Channel has a few as well.
At any rate Bro, it's comin along well, so don't stop, get er done!
Cheers, Ski.
