Go check their website www.tamiya.com

It can be converted to M1A2 or M1A1HA

Many says that the old M1A1 was not that accurate. Will there still be the same problems in this new kit? Anyone had a good review for this one?

There was a topic with the link to the review just a few messages below yours... Review is here:
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/tamiya/tam35269.htm

Some of the problems of old M1A1 model are still present in the new one, as the hull parts are the same. But most problems are now gone, as the new model has completely new turret and tracks.

Never mind :
I just read the reveiw that was posted earlier this week. on this kit. So in short the Trumpeter Kit is better. But the H.C Kit is okay. But needs to be tweeked to make it more accurate. Good thing I bought a Trumpeter kit a few weeks ago. BUT Now I have to go but the New Tammy M1A1. After reading the review on it. I'm drooling all over the place for it. LOL SOOOO I Guess I Just HAVE to got get on now !!

Build wise, Tamiya's kit was a snap to assemble. Accuracy wise, their hull was one of the least detailed, mainly because it was just a retooled pre-production straight M1 hull.

I'll probably buy one, but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

The french though will have a strong fighting chance with their faster Leclercs.

Not to mention the British Challenger 2 with its Chobham armor (most advanced) and its SABOT loving main gun.

Well, ould not agree more dude.
Politics should be discussed in the Off-topic clubs. (Moderators!)

OK, BACK TO TOPIC!

Does the Tammy M1A2/M1A1HA still have those holes in the underside that was supposed to be used ONLY in the motorized versions? God, they do serious damage to the kit's accuracy, that is if you plan to show the underside of course.

The hobby craft kit is a Trumpeter kit reboxed. All the parts have trumpter molded into them. They have added a new decal set with the kit.

Yes, those holes are still there. All hull parts are the same as in old kits, so all the motorization features are still present...
