Looking for a scale drawing of the Israeli "Bambi" Armored car and some pics of the rear of it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find this info?
Thank you!

I highly recommend John Myszka's "Military Briefs #6, Israeli Improvised Armoured Vehicles and Jeeps, 1947-1949". Keeping in mind that "Bambi" appears to be the name of a specific A/C, the book has excellent photos of the type and its longer bodied cousin, plus many others. Also, my "Israeli Half-Tracks, Volume One" has some as well, including walk-arounds of a version at Batey Haosef in Tel Aviv.. Neither book has an identifiable rear view of the vehicle named "Bambi", but the rear is very likely similar to other "short body" versions built on the Dodge Weapons Carrier chassis. As you will see, there is variety to the type. Hope the references help.

Does your Israeli Half Track book happen to have any interior shots of the 120 mortar carrier used in '67?

Indeed, it does, complete interiors of three vehicles All had been upgraded with the diesel engine, but that is not appropriate for 1967.

Thank you for the reply. I'll look into that book. I have a spare AFV Club Dodge Command Car and wanted to do something different with it. The Bambi looked like a fun scratchbuilding project!

I'm working on one of the M3A1 conversions as well. Both books have lots of coverage , plus John's book has drawings. Great projects!
