Hi guys,
I was wondering if the US Army is using SUV or Pickups from foreign origin ?
Such as Toyota pickups or Hilux ? Or Mitsubishi Pajero ?
And if so would they be in original paintjob or tranferred to military colors/ markings ?

In deployed areas (Iraq, Afghanistan, etc..) yes, for running around the base camp and by Special Forces troops as well. They are left in civilian colors.

Hi Gino,
Thanks for your reply.
Would these vehicles have the 'normal' military markings or a registration plate as in civil life ?

The ones we had in Iraq had civilian plates on them and no special markings. They were leased by the military from a civilian company for use.
