Well Gents i would like to share with you all my Sdkfz 6/1 project.
the sIG33 is from AFV Club and the SDKFZ 6/1 is from Trumpeter.
it has been a most enjoyable project and i have nothing but praise from both kits. Please enjoy.

Horst,
I really like this, especially the crisscrossed vehicle tracks disturbing the grass on your base. One minor thing: The tracks don't really match up with the actual equipment. That's just me blabbing though! Nice work, none-the-less!

Thanks for the response Mike
Blab away that's how we learn and improve.
The pictures are not the best but there are tracks that I impressed into the grout when it was wet but it is hard to see them.
Still trying different approaches and methods but haven't mastered it yet but I will keep trying.
Haven't decided what to build next I am thinking about doing a winter scene next.
Anyway thanks for your comments

Very good. Just a small point - I notice you have the sights mounted on the gun (under the cover). I think you will find that, as the sights were somewhat delicate, they were removed for travel and stowed in the vehicle.
Regards
Rob

Thanks Rob for your comments.
I had posed this question here during my build log for the sIG33
but i did not get any advice until now.
thank you for the info i will be sure to leave off any sights during travel mode for artillery in the future.
Glad you liked it.
Regards
Horst

Horst,
Looking good! Is this pre- or post-accident? If it's post, then you did a great job of doing repairs. You might want to try a little dust on the running gear to highlight it. BTW, the figures look good!

Georg

Thank you Bill and David for the kind words
I really appreciate it. We miss you Bill at our meetings
always a pleasure to hang out with you hope all is well.
I cant say enough about the kits they are awesome.
I picked up the 6/1 from squadron during one of their crazy sales for a song and the sIG33 from Lucky model when it first came out for like 15 bucks wow!
I know what has been said about the accuracy issues with the trumpeter offering but I don't care she built up like a champ and I was quite pleased.
Hats off to those guys at trumpeter great kit.
Regards Horst
