I have the AFV Club kit, which looks nice and straightforward. But when I looked up the Eduard PE set, I noticed that it has a very different mounting for the machine gun post. I'd much prefer not to use the PE, and I wondered why the difference and if the kit mounting unmodified wasn't fine the way it is.

have you tried the 50 and ring mount for the Tamiya
duce and a half? might be woth a try.
