How were the instructions, I always thought they were the weakest part of the Plus Models kits, otherwise it look like a great addition to their range.

Hello Al,

As you would expect the instructions for just about all of the Plus Models kits, at least the ones I have seen are indeed the weakest part of these kits and this kit show nothing different there. As I mentioned in the review, and you would understand, patience is needed to get over the hard to see areas but not impossible.

Other than the instructions, the kit is rather nice. The only thing I am still scratching my head over was all the work that went into making an engine that cannot be seen unless some surgery is performed on the hood. I was thinking of building up the motor to be displayed outside the built model just for fun!

I built the WOT3 1.5 ton and the instructions drove me mad, had to abandoned the project until sanity returned, but I got it finished in the end. Very nice kit too, but it had the same issue with the covered engine detail which seems a pity given the work they put into detailing the parts.

I like the look of the house body on this one, is there much of an interior?

Al,

With the '3' having the same issue with the engine, it makes me wonder why PM didn't change the hood configuration...

There is "the basics" when it comes to items in the box on this one. There is a table and stool and to shelving units, presumably to house possible radio equipment. I am sure with a couple antennas and some AM Brit radio equipment a nice little radio truck could come about. 8th pic down on the right shows the box shelves. Probably toss a bunch of Value Gear and Blackdog Accessories in the back too!!

Radio trucks are always interesting, certainly one to consider sometime in the future.

Formations also do or did a nice set but it was No 19 radios only.

WOW Alan, that is great!! Thanks for the addition information on the radios and they look fantastic in the set up you have! Excellent review btw!! I'm sold! LOL!! When this comes about in the build rotation I will be looking into picking up the No. 19 from Resicast for sure!!
