Aloha everyone! !!
I have a few different projects going on and I'm always on the lookout for new ones. Which brings me to this question--do you think I should hold back on the Hobby Boss Leopard 2 AE (or any of those variants) and wait for a more definitive model, lets say from Trumpy or Meng? And what of the M1A2 by DML or Tamiya? Same thing?

I haven't heard anything about a new Leopard 2 series and the HB one can be found fairly cheap. Who knows how long you would have to wait for a new Leo 2 kit, let alone that variant. I'd just get the HB one and enjoy it. As for the Dragon vs. Tamiya one, the Dragon one is supposed to be reissued this month. I'd get that one if possible- it's lightyears ahead of the Tamiya one

On questionable releases I would wait. At least finish what you have started then maybe something might develope.
Just like all the new kits that are out. I wait and scoop them up later when the price drops UNLESS it's burning a hole in my pocket and I must have it now! LOL
