The missile is dwarfed, by the launcher. Maybe with a scud, but I imagine that would be an expensive "what if".

Do you have a source? The only info I see on the web at least shows USSR, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria as former users. All of which were passed to successor states and discontinued for treaty reasons.

SS-23 is no longer in service. You may be confusing it with the SS-21 Scarab.

No problem. I keep a pretty close eye on Trumpeter and HobbyBoss.

You're thinking the SS-21, they have those. Pretty sure no uses the SS-23 anymore.

I know about Tankmania! Nice company and great customer service. Pawel is a great guy to deal with but a styrene one would be cheaper and easier to build! I think that we will for sure see it coming in the future!

They've been retired. I believe Slovakia may have been the last country to keep them in service.

miniman factory do this ss23 in resin ,it would be good to compare the plastic kit with the resin kit as it looks to me that this plastic kit is maybe a copy of the resin kit...

These things were way too dangerous, I am glad they exist only in resin, or plastic now.

"Maybe"? Based on?
If you are really suspicious about that, why don't you do the comparison yourself and share your results here?

Now just hold on here. Before we head down that path again, let's set some ground rules, eh?

> If there are any parts molded as one piece in the resin kit that are multiple pieces in plastic kit, it's not a copy. (This alone is proof. You can't split a solid cube into six flat sides, add locator pins and alignment lips, and arrange the molding gates and sprues by "tracing" or "pantographing".)

> If there are any details or parts in the plastic kit that aren't in the resin kit, it's not a copy.

> If there are details in the plastic kit (raised beading, hole locations, door shapes, etc.) that are straighter, more uniform, or smoother than on the resin kit, it's not a copy.

Just because both replicas of real objects are the same size it doesn't mean one copied the other.

Just because both replicas of real objects have the same dimensional error, it doesn't mean they are copies. (They both could be worked from the same flawed drawings or dimensions or they both could be looking at the same detail photo that shows a different version of the object.)

Just because both kits break down the vehicle the same way, it doesn't mean they are copies. ("The plastic kit has the suspension, hull and turret separate, just like the resin kit. It must be a copy!!")
