Just browsing PMMs, I found this, and I'm just wondering how it seemed to have been overlooked (after so much debate on the new side skirts etc) It certainly looks a lot better....Jim

Hi Jim,
There was a brief flurry of discussion here & over at ML I think, PMMS seems to have an advance release for review as none of the usual sources are listing these kits yet.
Interestingly Trumpeter may have been planning the Kosovo release and delayed it after the conflict in Iraq, as the early pictures of sprues when the kit was first released (almost a year ago now !!!) included the dozer blade.
Nice to see Trumpeter take on board constructive criticism and rework accordingly. I will have to get at least one of each in addition to the 2 originals in my pending pile, just to give Trumpeter the confidence to do more modern British stuff.
Happy modelling

Howdy fellas,
I too have two (that sounded like an old 'Juicey Fruit' commercial :-) ), Chally 2's waiting on the shelf. I was of the camp during the Op Telic Chally debate as to whether the AA conversion kit was worth the money over the Cromwell kit. That is until I heard Trump was going to reissue and update the Chally's with the Chobham applique armour and TEC exhaust.
From the pics they look pretty darn good.
Here's a question for ya though...do you think we could order just those spues that contain the upgrades?? Has anyone here had any luck in the past just ordering specific sprues" I know I've heard of several people doing it successfully with Tammy, just not sure about the other manufacturer's.

You know what people doing here? They buy the Trunpeter T-55 only to take out the dozer-blade and mine roller for their Tamiya T-55. $5 for that kit here, much cheaper than a resin dozer blaze.
That new Chally is not available yet, but possible it will be $8-9. May be people will buy it for those add-on armour only, to attach to the AA Chally2.
