Hey peoples, I am a noob when it comes to aftermarket parts, I need someone to tell me if a Jordi Rubio 1/35 German 7.5cm KwK L/48 barrel would be appropriate for the Tamiya Jagdpanzer Lang. I'm thinking of getting it off ebay. Here's the link:

By definition, that Tamiya kit is a "Lang" -- meaning "long" -- and needs an L/70 barrel. The barrel you are looking at on eBay is an L/48.
By my reckoning -- and mind you I'm no Panzer expert -- you could use the L/48 barrel on the kit to make an earlier version of the Jadgpanzer IV, the Sd. Kfz. 162. Looks like the external differences are the shorter gun barrel and no gun travel lock.
