Hello fellow builders,
This is my recently finished US 442nd Regimental Combat Team diorama, After the Battle. It shows soldiers of the 442nd after they took the high ground over Bruyeres, France in October, 1944.
The 1/4 ton Jeep Willys and trailer are from Tamiya, chain wheels by Tank Workshop. The ambulance modifications were scratch build.
Figures are a collection of Miniart, Verlinden, Dragon and Master Box with some Hornet & Wolf heads.
The forest trees, ground cover and muddy road are from Scenic Factory and highly recommended. Great customer service from the owner, John Hoenig!http://www.thescenicfactory.com/
Packs and equipment are from the spares box.
Comments and critiques most definitely welcome.
Thanks for looking.
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
Very nice work, I like the different levels of the scene. To connect the two elements I'd change the seating of the soldier in the rear of the jeep so he is looking back at the prisoners.
The wounded guy with the broken leg is a nice touch.
A very pleasing scene.
Cheers
Al

Hi Jerry....,
that's a fantastic scene you've done there. Particularly like the groundwork, mud, trees etc..., very realistic. Haven't used that website you mentioned, definitely worth a look for future projects... The shrine too adds that European element.
The figures are pretty well done too, and as Al mentioned the wounded guy is a smart addition, something alittle different.
Well done, you should be proud!!
Simon.

Hi Jerry,
The mud has a very natural slippery look about it -- you nailed it! Nice job all-round!

Well you know I like it, cool scene, I especially like it because of the dimensional base, it has depth and character.
