An update from Takom has the box art for the upcoming World War 1 tanks plus a small bonus.

That figure is cool enough but man I would have preferred a good German tanker instead.

Would have preffered a British Tanker, this obsessive thing with German Subjects is dissapointing

I like the spuds on these and making one a Beutepanzer offering is a good way of hedging you bets lol.

Ya know, if they want to appeal to the German interests they could always make, oh I don't know, an A7V. . .

Very exciting! I've been looking forward to a good MkIV kit for a looooooong time. I'm getting both, no doubt.

I'm hoping the Male has a BRITISH tanker in the box. You know, because it's, like, a BRITISH tank?

Seriously, though. It HAS to be a German! It's the only way to get folks to look away from their Panzer IVs!! I kid, I kid.

I ain't complaining, Takom. Put what ever markings you want on it! Keep giving us WWI tanks, please!!!!

The Beutetank (not panzer) is a very good choice as the Germans had whole units made from rebuilt captured Mark IVs, far far more than the A7V that everyone knows. I am no fan of German armor, however if it helps to make this a success, I am all for it.

I've these preordered. Good to see them a step closer to release. Doubt theyre coming before my birthday next week though now as originally hoped. I like the German option but I'm getting both so variation is good.

Surely the German tanker should be wearing the later M16/17 helmet as opposed to the pickelhaube which it replaced circa 1916?

Definite day 1 purchase for me! Now, Male or female... That's the question!

About the figure i love the old camera he is holding. Very useable for "documentary" dioramas

You could always put it in a dio being either knocked out, or newly captured with the Kriegsberichter photographing it. Being a non-combat personnel, maybe he could still be wearing older issue equipment - like his Pickelhaube.
