Well, I am calling the engine finished as far as construction and initial painting is concerned.
And here is the gun barrel painted, weathered, and glued to it's spot.

Very nice Pete. Great job on the engine and compartment. Where/who are the toolbox and tools from that are on the front slope? They look nice.
