Hi guys,
just wondering what the best color match is for the reddish German WW2 primer used on armored vehicles. Any suggestions? thanks

AK Interactive have the Red primer, which is a colored primer in fact. Vallejo Model color 982 Cavalry brown also is a very good match IMHO

I use rattle can Rust-o-Leum, ruddy brown primer. If I want to use my ab, without decanting I use Floquil Red Oxide.

Mr Hobby makes a Mr Red Oxide surfacer 1000 , both in spray and in a 40 ml bottle .

Another option is to use Doc Johnsten's rusty red pigment.
