Hello
Again a few more figures.
At first i didn'nt to know where to post since this is s mix of fugures
But this is a story as it is a gift to a colleague of my wife (had been seeing my "dolls" from 6 day war) and both connected to medical care.
I bought a small box with two split in 2 different scenes. The background images are from a ambulance Huey and the other of the old city of Jerusalem.
The figures are the ORION and CSEC.
A doctor of the Vietnam War and a nurse (IDF war casualties period of 6 days)
The suitcase of the doctor is made in mass, with copper wire that snapped to form a ribbon.
Pasted in order to give some sense of movement. The Red Cross and the Magen David Adom were hand painted.
I used the Vallejo Paints ModelColor + ModelAire a brush 10/0.
Here are some pictures and hope you enjoy:
The suitcase
The Box
The nurse (with more figures to paint)
The doctor
Another view of the box
Kind Regards
Rui

Brilliant idea that box!!!! Figures are nice too!
Your painting on small scale figures is indeed top notch!!
The only thing I would comment on is the M16 with the doctor! Medical personnel would not carry rifles!!
Cheers

Medical personnel are allowed to carry weapons for defense of their patients under the Geneva Convention, there are pictures of medics/corpsmen carrying them in Vietnam; I carried either a rifle or pistol the whole time I was in the Army and carried both when I served with the Marines. You want to blend in as much as possible with the guys around you. Pistols tend to say "this guy is important".

Hi there,
cool figures for 1/72 scale, like it. Is the IDF nurse a conversion from ESCI`s old Barbarian Warrior`s? The pose is very simiar.
Cheers

Hello
And thanks for all of you.
The Nurse is from Orion miniatures, they have two set of Israel troops.
Kind regards
Rui
