Hi,

I recently bought a collection that came from an estate sale, there are some figures that I believe could be recasts, but not sure. Does anyone recognize there? If so what brand and figure#?

Hi

Looking at the images and having most of those figures as genuine ones I would say they are all counterfeit recast figures.

I could list them but I don't see the point, there would be nothing to gain from knowing the original maker unless you wanted to sell them passing them off as the real ones which they are not.

It's a shame that in a small marketplace such as this (figure modelling) the profits that these hard working, talented and skilled sculptors is eroded by these scumbag re-casters who infest places like Ebay.

Thanks for the reply, I figured that these are recasts, I have a couple of genuine Royal Model, and Warriors figure sets.

All I can say is that I am glad to have found out. I should have paid closer attention - buyer beware...
