Hi Easy!
The Grief you pickedup is actually Dragon's SdKfz 250/3 so you got yourself a bagain. Revell basically corrected the markings on the kit as well. You'll see a hell of a lot of parts in the box for such a small model but I think it's beautiful! Watch the fit between the upper and lower hulls and throw away the figures! Have fun!

The Revell M113A1 is the Italeri M113A1. Italeri makes three variants of the M113 FOV: the M113A1, M163 Vulcan and M901 ITV. I've got all three. These kits are not as good as the older Tamiya M113A1s or the Academy M113A1/A2 kits. For some reason, the left side blackout drive marker is molded upside down, since all three kits use the common hull and suspension sprues, this error is found in all kits. Also the road wheels look rather anemic and have little depth to them like the Academy or Tamiya M113s.

I bought my M113A1 to build a NATO variant (Canadian) but have been too lazy to buy the AFV Club Diehl tracks. The M163 Vulcan was on clearance at a PX for $10 and I bought the M901 ITV for $10 from someone online. I figured I could do something with them.

Hi Easy....the only info I have on it is from an old MIS article, in the kit you should find markings for 3 Werrmacht machines, one of which was Rommel's and the decals for this have the swastika replaced by an 'X' since they are apparently produced by Revell of Germany where it's banned, so if you decide to do this one it has to be sourced from the spares box. The other two are Eastern front versions, both finished in grey, Panzergruppe von Kleist and Grossdeutschland division, and around 1942. Hope this helps?

Vinnie
