Hello
I'm looking for 1/35 figs for a churchill MKIV in Normandy, a set of 3 or 4 for exemple.
Any ideas? I haven't found much...
Thanks

Hi Raphael. I just bought Royal Models British tank crew consisting of four figures. They are very nice and crisp in details. I'm going to add Hornet heads but the Royal Model heads are also good.

"ULTRACAST" do some superb 1/35 resin British tanker figs in both standard 'Battle Dress' and "Pixie Suit" uniforms suitable for Normandy and N.W.E. in the 1944-45 period.
Take a look at their website to see what's aavailable; you will not be disapointed!

Hope you get sorted out OK.

Thank you for your answers. I took a look to theses figs (some before this topic) and my problem is : NORMANDY!
Some have gloves for example or seem to have very warm clothes.
How did they dress in june 1944?
I will take a look at historical pics and make my choice.

Pixie suits weren't widely used until around Sept 1944 so not suitable for a Normandy setting (assuming June '44 timeframe).

Salut Raphael,
Gary is right, the Pixie suits came later in 44 (for the cold season).
I would agree that Ultracast is a capital choice! Miniart poses are less suited for the Churchill (IMHO) and Bronco figures are mostly for the cold season (Market Garden and later).
Alpine are fantastic, but less as crew inside the tank, and above all in cold weather gear (incl. glowes). So no go here!
Royal Model is acceptable, but I don't like their heads too much! Ultracast heads look more "british" or Commonwealth if you prefer!
Cheers
Romain
