I would say the BMPT is a production vehicle while the BMPT72 is only a "paper panzer".

Well, not quite.

And this model is only slightly similar to this image.

Hi;

The BMPT-72 or as its better known as Terminator Mk;2 !

During RAE 2012 they Touted it as the Mk;2, the Hull is just A Modified T-72/90 chassis with the Newer Road Wheels. Its not as Complex as the Mk;1, IMHO it looks pretty good and it appears that TBS has Beat the others with there Rendition ! Altho Im Betting that either Trumpeter or one of the others will give it A Shot which is A Good Thing.

CHEERS; MIKE.

Thank you for correcting me Gennadiy. I should have written prototype and not "paper panzer".
Is it really already in service with the Russian forces?

The BMPT and BMPT-72 are not in service in the Russian army (has exception of 2 bought BMPT has title of experiment)

Only Kazakhstan has BMPT in service
