I saw an ad in today's paper and thought it was a joke or a sales gimmick. WRONG ! fox6now.com/...to-be-looking-for-a-1941-sherman-tank-theres-one-for...
I might take a run up there and check it out this weekend.
Happy 4th of July all !

My piggy-bank is already committed to this:

Figure I'll find something for my son to drive to school next year. "You're in my parking space, oh never mind. . ."

I saw somewhere there is a Sherman that sunk on D-Day 250K and on a site yesterday a Kettenrad running unrestored but looks damn good for 146k euros. Another site one of the only all original 12ton (I think by memory) halftracks - valued at 2 million!
How much money do you think Russia could make if they started wheelin' and dealin' some of their stash!

Only about a million and a half for a Jumbo. I'll be bustin' out the credit card (and don't tell my wife).

I'll take one of those Ferret or Fox scout-cars!
The Fox would solve the "I WANT a real armored vehicle in my driveway (think about the "My other car is a..." bumper-sticker you could make!)". It's rather biggish gun would keep any neighborly disgruntlement and carping to a dull roar!
But maybe one genuine ex-military tactical ride is enough for a guy...
Steyr D-P Pinzgauer 710, ex Swiss Army, 1975/. It's all stock and original equipment save for the newer USA tires and that kinda "off" paint.
