Makes me want to get another WC51. These sets really are nice and not as difficult as I first thought. Makes it much more realistic with a cargo load to show the weight of the load.

Russ, I take it that you've actually built one of these sets. Can you give us any details on how the construction went? Also, could you describe how the articulation feature functions? These are billed as "working" but does that mean that the springs will actually return to their normal state after being compressed, or is it a one-time only kind of thing where the suspension is compressed and conformed to the terrain and that becomes its permanent setting? TIA!

I did a review here of the set for the Tamiya jeep. The leaf springs are all separate parts and can be compressed for a load. If left on their own they spring back into place-I can push on the jeep and it will go up and down-but can be glued with CA to set them where you want for an appropriate weight load. They also offer a lot more visual detail.
