I posted the start of this last week and it has now disappeared for some reason.I was saying that the kit is very straight forward with only 14 steps. The fit of parts is so,so.The front suspension is hard to do and all the wheels seem to ride too high and touch the wheel wells. As I had said almost all has to be repainted. The decal for the dash is pretty much useless.I don't recommend this kit,but I have never liked building cars.I'm sure someone will do an excellent job on it,like some of the Meng pickups on here.I'm just thankful that people are now producing 1/35 civilian cars.

Good job on it all the same. I suppose if it's loaded with explosives it will ride low on the auspension

The "low riding" suspension actually fits the car depicted quite well. Wider rear tiers, dual pipe exhaust and a front spoiler make this a "tuned up" version like this one and their drivers are well known for having problems with speed bumps (and counting to 13 without taking the pants of )

Thanks so much mmeier,
Great pics. Now I'm thinking of repainting it silver with the black roof.
I'm having a hell of time with the front windshield. The one with kit is not fitting right and I've got so much glue on it I'm trying to scratch a new one with clear styrene. It didn't help that I dropped the chassis on the floor and proceeded to step on it.Worse comes to worse I'll to make it a burnt ruin. .

Back I think with the done deal.
Redid the windshield, took a while and the fit isn't perfect.
The figure is OK,but the fit is not great.
I'm sure one of you guys will do a much better job on it. .On the shelf now on the dio waiting list.I have the Jworks barricade set and MB checkpoint set from the original RG1 kit bonus. The figures won't work because they are too relaxed.I would like to keep the guy firing from the driver seat and maybe a dead insurgent on the other side.Looking through my stash for more in action figs.
