Need some help.

I am building the Trumpeter T-64 and have a problem. Building the engine deck in step 4, part D19 goes into the recess on part G19. There are two holes in G19 and two corresponding parts on D19. In my example, they do not fit. Has anyone else had this problem? I intend to cut them off and let D19 sit in the recess, or is there a way that makes it fit that I am missing?

The engine deck in the T-64A Mod. 1972 kit is part K11. In my kit the parts fit. Most probably the spacing on your part is different. Cut them off I would say.

After your comment, I checked the instructions on line for each of the versions and see that indeed, in the one I am making the T-64 Mod 1981 as well as the Mod 1985 the engine deck is G19, whereas in the Mod 1972 & 1975 it is K1. That explains a bit of the problem.

I will cut them off, thanks for the help.
