Hi all, just wondering if cardboard boxes were used for ration boxes in Western Europe by the U.S army, or we're they just wooden boxes. I've seen a few companies making various styles, what's the best for a 1945 scene..? Any help is greatly appreciated.

There were also C-Rations in paper cartons and paper K-Ration cartons as well. This article breaks down the different types well.
