Hey everyone, just out of curiosity, does anyone know whether the G36C was ever used in combat or in any military applications? Thanks for your help.

hi Sam,
if you posted the question last week I could have asked the sales representative of H&K that I met on Thurday. I am sure that several Special Forces units have this gun in their arsenal.

Thanks GuyGos for the link. Are there any differences between the standard G36C and Trumpeter's KSK's G36C? Trumpeter has a set that the KSK supposedly uses and I was just wondering if there is such a thing as a KSK G36C. Thanks again.

Hi Sam,
just spoke with members of a Bundeswehr OMLT. I asked about the G36C, but they told that they found it not useful. For under-standable reasons, informations about the armory of the KommandoSpezialKräfte are classified. But I personally believe that the KSK G36C is a brainchild of Trumpeter. It s know that the Bundeswehr uses the G36 k with a Knight Armament foreshaft, held it today in my greedy hands.
Cheers

Hi Sam,
not to confuse that. OMLT means Operational Mentoring and Liason Team. These are "ordinary" soldiers who train and observe the ANA. They have some more sophisticated personal equipment. As a matter of fact, I spoke last year with a KSK Operator, but believe me, this guys DON`T tell anything important.
Cheers

I understand HermannB, but it's still pretty cool how you get to meet so many interesting people.
