Thought some of you might be interested in an unusual multi-color Sherman camo scheme. The 752nd Tank Battalion used camo paint on a few of its M4 and M4A1s, and the colors were usually black over OD. However, I recently received this photo of a 752nd M4A1, taken in Italy in 1944. There are three main camo colors, and it appears that the large blotch on the center of the hull was later brushed on over the other colors. Also notice the light shade on the bogey trucks.
