I don't believe this was posted before... and it's a REALLY cool set... I'm definitely going to be getting a couple when released, at least! For some reason, I've been getting interested in all this post-apocalypse - Zombie - what if stuff lately
And I hope this won't be their first.. and last Zombie set

Another thing I like about this set.. at least the way it is in these pics so far.. is that the Zombies don't have their guts sticking out or their bodies mutilated.. so their bodies, with some minor changes, can also be used as "normal" civilians

And the weird zombie mouth tenticles. Possible license for this, or are they going to be sold as "not-RE" line?
Personally I think the zombies need to be more desicated and emaciated. As is it could be Milla in costume getting mobbed by nerds at a Comic con.

Interesting, as that's exactly why I was disappointed in the set. That kind of emaciation, receding lips, and trauma are the visual shorthand for zombies. You can paint them to look grey (or blue for the purists!) but if there wasn't the guy with the mouth tentacles it would be unclear. That said, it is a great idea and I'm impressed at their thinking out of the box even more than usual.

Well, the way I look at these things with figures is kind of like "salt in your food"... you can always add salt later, but you can't take the excess out Maybe this is just because of my skill level.. but I think decapitating and mutilating a figure might be a little easier than "normalizing" an already mutilated figure Also, there are already some mutilated Zombies around I think by MAIM from Germany
Generally speaking, I always prefer "generic" figures that can be used in more than one setting

Yep that' Alice from Resident Evil. I don't mind that so much. Wouldn't mind seeing more sci-fi fantasy subjects like this coming out from a manufacturer like MasterBox. The zombies are nice, not over gored up. It lets the modeler do the "make-up" with paint. Hopefully they have another set or two of those in the works. Maybe we'll get some more fighting lady based figures. Or just more irregular, non-military based figures.
I'm in a post-apoc subject phase at the moment.

Anybody have any thoughts on the make/model of the bike? I'm not a motorcycle guy, but it looks more 40's-50's-ish to me.
Might be fun with a modern Harley or a crotch rocket bike.
Add in a Meng pickup, some Meng highway barriers, DML SWAT guys, Trumpy PMC dudesm, and a mercades and you've got a real dio right there.
I'm in just for the fun of it. Add that 3/4th zombified already female Vietnamese figure from the Academy Nam 113 and you're golden!

Looks like MB's BMW from one of their German WWll fig sets. Maybe she'll fit just as well on MiniArt's Harley.

I wonder if the lady figure will fit on the modern bike in either Tamiya's JGSDF figure set or Dragon's modern US figure set? Although, an old BMW or Harley painted in "modern" colours would also look cool

Hmmm.... a SWATified Kinetic MaxxPro with DML SWAT team and Trumpeter PMC plus a Live Resin minigun attached. I think the Miss J. could made fit to the Tamiya Enduro.
So many idas.....

Whoa...What's up with the mouth on one of them? Looks like something out of "The Thing." Either way, this'll give way to some cool dioramas.

Dark World Creations in U.K. sells zombies and human resistance fighters, but in 70mm, not 1/35 scale. DWC also sells 1/24 zombie vehicle modifications.
There was a post here saying that DWC plans to discontinue some of their zombie product lines so get them while you can.
Ah, yes, here is the DWC news post on their limited supply...

I sure hope Masterbox makes some human "Resistance" Fighters in 1/35 scale such as the ones you see on TV and in the movies. They differ from soldiers because they lack the body armor, harnesses, and web gear and often wear jackets. PMCs might work, but most PMCs have the shemagh scarf which sets the PMC in the Middle East.
Being 1/35, one could arm these Resistance Fighters with a lot of weapons !

I agree with you completely, Peter.. no more Galabeyas or Pakistani style clothes or Koufeyas or slippers... just figures wearing generic looking fatigues that can be used in tens of different settings by changing their heads and their gear.
NotYetDead.. two questions for you...
Do you take straight credit card transactions, or only through PayPal?
Do you ship to Egypt?

Hi Hisham,
unfortunately only through PayPal, setting up credit card directly was way to expensive, and a real hassle.
I use Paypal with my CC all of the time, and it´s really cool.
Egypt, no problem, it might take a few days more.
Cheers
