Who's going to the IPMS Nationals for 2014, in Virginia? I'll be there (even the wife is coming, man-o-man, is she gonna be bored)!

I'm bringing along 6 pieces in 1/35th armor, maybe a 7th if I can finish in time.

Look me up while I'm there...my IPMS number of 506 will be on my name badge. Slap me, throw me to the ground...letting me know you're on Armorama!

Cheers!

Took 7 pieces...finishing what would be considered a 4th...lol...in 2 catagories. Close but no cigar. I did judge the whole way through however. I'll take the constructive comments of the judges for my entries and bebuild/tweek from there. Had a great time. One let down: I'm a 50 year member of IPMS (number 506), and not a peep of recognition.

On the other hand, the wife and I got to self-tour Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and Ft Monroe. Saw alot of history.

My apologies as well if I didn't get to meet any of you guys. I actually spent more time touring the history sites than at the Convention. Then judging for most of the evening didn't help with seeking out conversations either...

My next Nationals? Probably in Columbia SC for 2016...

Actually, this was my entry in one of the diorama categories (don't remember which one). It took a third place. There was a LOT of great competition this year. Looks like all those AK Interactive videos are being watched after all...

Thanks, Pedro for the great photos. A lot of great models as always at Nats. I have competed at the Nats 3 times, and its always been great fun. Congrats to Columbia S.C. for getting to host the 2016 show, but as a Californian, I'm a little disappointed that no West coast chapter made a bid to host the show. Drove to Colorado last year, and that's about as far as I care to drive(1000 miles). Maybe in 2017 the Nats can come West.
