As lately there were some post about problems with AK acrilics, maybe of interest a couple of new videos from AK using their "new formula" paints ... straight from bottle...and without priming...

From FB official page (sic)

New video release with quick Tips & Tricks:

Nice videos. Makes me want to try these new formula paints. I've held off purchasing any of the AK and/or AMMO paints so far but these I'm inclined to try.

Thanks for sharing.

Rob, this videos are made ONLY WITH AK-INTERACTIVE "NEW FORMULA" PAINTS ....

Paints of AMMO OF MIG JIMENEZ are from diferent company, diferent factory and diferent formula...

My 2 cents.

I'm very well aware of the differences between these and the Ammo paints. Perhaps you didn't fully understand my post. I only said that I've held off purchasing AK and Ammo paints so far but that I'm inclined to try out your new-formula paint as, from the videos you posted, they look like they airbrush pretty well.

To be honest, I'm getting tired of these rivalry posts from you all. Perhaps that's why I've held off purchasing anything...

My 2 cents...

I am glad they made improvements. I had some of the US armor when it first came out a few years ago and I did not like it. The new stuff in the Iraq set is better. However I seem to have good luck with Vallejo so I tend to stick with them.

Do you know at what PSI these new paints are being sprayed through the airbrush in the video? It looks to be quite high pressure.

I thought the video said between 15 and 20 psi but not sure. But I do know that in the past AK and Vallejo recommended high PSI around 18 for their out of the bottle airbrush paints.
