I wouldn't get your hopes up. I think I saw that listed on hannants future releases about 2+ years ago along with the ww1 dough boys, I think they are still there!

Considering how mediocre their other 1/35 WW1 kits are, it is difficult to get much enthusiasm, especially as this is a kit that will also be released by a manufacturer with a better track record. We'll see. . .

Let's wait and see but HobbyBoss has announced a Schneider as well, and they're lights ahead of Emhar in terms of moulding and detail.

But as they say " The proof of the pudding is in the eating".

Cheers,

They seem to be different version of the Schneider CA.
Ehmar looks to be the early version and HB the later with added front and side armor.
I am interested in both but really I hope Ehmar will do a good work because an early CA1 was the first tank to enter in service with Regio Esercito Italiano.

I posted about this a while back but Emhar had better up their game as people aren't going to choose their kits over the likes of Tamiya, HB anf Takom.
They should at least include individual links and running gear instead of those awful rubber bands for the Schneider.

Can't say I'm surprised by that news they have had it listed for several years now shame really now everyone seems to be taking ww1 tanks seriously.

Yeah, they've lost their window I think. Pity they didn't go for the A7V since that one seems to be open for the moment.

A decent A7V is definitely needed.
I built the one from Tauro models in Italy and it had some of the rivets for the corner joints hanging halfway on the outside of the corner, aaarrrrrgggghhhhhh ......

I can't say I'm surprised as the HB one will probably be much better. I think the only thing Emhar can do now is flog thir MKIV's at very low prices.
