You can mix Tamiya acryls with Vallejo Model Color to make a brushable paint.

err not!
Tamiya isn't a 'true' acrylic, but can be thinned with lacquer/cellulose, at your own risk, etc., (or water, or IPA, or Tamiya thinners, etc.)
Vallejo is a true acrylic, & can't be cut with Lacquer/cellulose, but with the Vallejo Thinners, or water, or IPA, etc.
If you want to mix, do so like with like. you can paint Vallejo over Tamiya, & I think the other way round. (your milage may vary)

Nevertheless, you can mix the two. BTW, Vallejo is not a true acrylic either.

Care to show some results? Being that nobody had had any success with this, it seems kinda odd that you're trying to argue it.

I made a mistake of using Vallejo model color and added Tamiya x20a , all it did was make a mess , but that was old Vallejo paints . I have not bought any new colors , so maybe Vallejo has changed something in their paints ?

I read this in Military Modeler. He mixed two Tamiya acryls with two Vallejo Model Color paints.
