Macone Models is a company from Spain, producing really nice scenery sets in 54mm scale which we covered on HF. Now, they have some cool items in 1/35 scale as well.

I reviewed these kits for Military Modelling Magazine, they are very nice and as you say will prove very useful for some existing kits and very good for a scratch built project.
