Hi Gang,
I found this article on a Crocodile-like flamethrower tank based on Merkava 2.

Could this be confirmed?

Its a water tank trailer, one would think that a trailer filled with flame thrower propelent would warrant a bit more armour on it.....

Really?? Seriously?? You did see that the post is from 2010, right?? Using a vehicle mounted flamethrower in combat would be frowned upon (an understatement) by the international community.
Looks to be a Merkava 2 that is dragging a water trailer behind it in a training exercise. The towing yoke that is being used is interesting though. I would like to see the covert IDF stripper assassins that they were bouncing around on that posting.

I am pretty sure that the M149 trailer wouldn`t be used for carrying flamethower fuel. I also thing that the Crocodile concept would be to vulnerable in today`s RPG-filled battlefield. Not to mention the international outcry when such barbaric weapons would be used in an urban warfare.

The same pic has popped up on idf-modelling, caption identifies the trailer as being for water.
