I have a desire to build a Sisu XA-180 and I know that as there are no kits of this, it is going to have to be a exercise in scratchbuilding. I cannot at the moment find any drawings so I am seeing if anyone here has any drawings that I can use? I have contacted Patria, but no joy so far.

You might try asking at http://www.pienoismallit.net/keskustelut/ and click aloita uusi keskustelu in the upper left corner. I'm fairly certain somebody can point you in the right direction and they all (or at least almost all) speak some English so that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, I did check there and the basic drawing is a bit of help, but will need more. The XA-202 drawings would help greatly if you can share.

The Swedish Armour Historical Society (SPHF) sells drawings of a number of vehicles in Swedish service. Try to contact Kjell Svensson, who creates these drawings, I know that he is working on the XA-180 drawings, not sure if they are 100% completed yet, though.

I have a set of early drawings from Kjell, but in fairness to him I think it would be best if you contacted him directly. If you can't reach him, send me a PM and I will help from my end. He is usually quick to answer mails.

By the way, I found that tires for the US HET M1070 are a pretty good fit for the Swedish XA-180 tires (both size and tread pattern), even though the rims will have to be scratched.
