Does anyone have experience with this kit? I know it is an ancient reissue, but is it any good or not worth the $10?

Rob,
I have two of them that I plan on eventually building. By today's standards it leaves a lot to be desired, but because of it's size it should be easy to add details to it. I belive it can be built up into a decent rendition of a MULE, and is worth the $10.00.

I agree, I've got one too and think it's worth $10 dollars...

I think I saw the kit on e-bay a few months ago for over 50 USD.
Though it looks a bit crude, for 10 quid, I'd grab it with both hands !

Got the DML Mechanical Mule w/US Marines at my other local shop for $7.95. Seemed like a better deal than the Glencoe kit, although that one came with a recoilless rifle. I can always get the Skybow RR for $7.

The Mule looks very similar to the John Deere "Gator" that is being used in Afghanistan. It is basically a little 4-wheeled flatbed vehicle used to just haul stuff around an outpost or firebase.
