Hey Everyone, for my TUSK I Build, I am trying to depict to depict a vehicle from 2006-2008. I was wondering if I should include the original Abrams A2 APU, the L shaped structure that's fixed on left side of the turret bustle. The reason I am asking this is because I have heard that there are internal APUs during the late 2000s. If I were to omit the original L shaped APU, that would leave me more room for stowage. Thanks again for your help.

The internal APUs were added only on M1A2 SEP tanks, part of the SEP upgrades. In the bustle rack where the APU was sits a VCU (Vapor Compression Unit, think air conditioner) on M1A2 SEPs. If you are not building an M1A2 SEP, you should leave the APU.

Thanks HeavyArty. One more question, do you have any pictures of the strip of angle iron, coming from the the junction box, covering the wires that runs forward and connects to the angle iron that runs behind the hatches? Thanks again.

Thanks again, HeavyArty. Would the wires go underneath the gunner's shield in the Tusk I configuration?

There are no exposed wires on the turret roof. They all run in/under the angle iron conduits.
