nice work, however, they are too close to the target, that RPG blast would kill them both.

Very nice piece Hussein. Who says you're a beginner ??? Unfortunately the space is too small. Hope for them they don't shoot with rpg...A traditional molotov bottle should be ok

The space IS small, but it's a model, gents. Sometimes you have to approximate reality.

The whole scene is fictitious, so the good points above might be "pointless"!?!?

What bothers me a little is the weathering of the M577! It's way too heavy IMHO! Paint flaking is not probable in this case! Sand (storms?) can erode, but not "take off" whole corners, and surely not on the inside of the hatch!!

Such salt/hairspray-like damage is likely only when corrosion comes into play! The trouble is....the M113 family is aluminium based, not steel!

And the IDF has sometimes a certain "laissez-faire, laissez-aller" attitude, but when it comes to their weaponry/gear, they won't tolerate such negligence.

None of Israel's wars lasted long enough to produce such damage...and inbetween wars they care for their weaponry, just like their egyptian counterparts! I've seen egyptian tanks in forward positions (towards Suez) and they were not derelict!

Cheers

Romain

I guess it could be called a "SUICIDE AMBUSH".

Very nice work, Hussein.

Cheers,
Joe

I agree the space is tight and might probably kill all the figures, except the dog must live

I was bound by the ready base dimensions in order to get a good RPG range i should have used a rectangular base

Whatever you do, don't kill the dog! ... He's alerting the stupid patrol guys that they are about to get whacked by the stupid RPG wielding insurgent!

All kidding aside ... I like it. Nice work!

Hussein, nice work. While all of the comments about proximity of the shooters to the target are valid, I agree with Bill_C. In model railroading the concept is called "forced perspective". Few of us have the space to model a recommended minimum range of engagement.

Hussein, nice looking diorama sir. I like the weathering on the -577. Frederick, well stated. Sometimes reality and perspective have to be adjusted to accommodate practicality and space concerns. Not many of us would have room to build and/or store dioramas that would depict normal space and distance. Look forward to more models, Hussein.

Ian

Well done on this build. I see you used some of the same figures I used on my close contact dio. Nice job.

I think considering you have only been model building for a year this is a respectable build. The items used and the space available has been used well if a little cramped, but you will gain some valuable experience from this.
Keep at it Hussein, I await your next build.
