If using Vellejo Olive Drab to paint with, would it not help to use a drop of gloss medium?
It has to be covered with gloss anyway for decaling.
Maybe I really don't understand what the gloss medium is for, can someone enlighten me please.
thanks for taking time to teach me.

From what I remember it really is just to make one of their matt paints glossy. I guess if you didn't want to seal with the future coat you could just use the gloss effect with the paint to get a glossy surface.

I find it easier to paint with flat and then top coat with gloss or satin. For some reason the flat flows and covers better and also dries quicker.

Jeff
Thanks Jeff, I will try it and see if it makes the surface glossy enough to decal.

Thanks, I prefer a nice satin to flat for painting but then that is what I am use to.
I mainly am trying Vellejo products as it seems to be the only paint that is easy to acquire in Canada. Have some AK Primer coming from a Poland Ebay Store to try but have now found a store in Canada that sells the complete line of Vellejo.
Thanks for the replies
