This is my Tamiya T-34. It was really easy to build, and is painted Model Master Dark Green. I couldn't find my MM "Russian Armor Green" so I had to improvise.
Wooden coffee stirers were used to replicate lumber on the side of the tank.
The slogan says "To Victory". I had to ask my old Russian teacher how to write it.

Since this isn't the Rivit Revue board I quess it's ok for me to just say Well Done. I like it. My only small nit might be the lumber doesn't look quite right to me. I think it might look better if it were darker, more weathered. That's just me though. I like the hand painted slogan, looks much better than a decal and very realistic.

I have to agree with Halfyank about the shifting beam. If the tank got bogged down this "plank" would be useless. A better choice would be to get a straight branch from your garden as logs were used for this purpose as well. Love the slogan ..... looks very realistic.

Nice T-34. Friuls on this one??? As the others have said, the hand painted slogan is a nice touch that makes this model uniquely your own.
By the way, since we are so close geographicly, don't ever be afraid to ask if you need something regarding your modeling, (maybe we can help each other out). I have two bottles of the MM Russian Armor green acryl sitting on the paint table, (acquired from "our" local hobby shop -lol). I would have been more than happy to let you have one. Keep this in mind for the future.
Good work.

Good build. Color?Well, what factory did it comefrom?Thats probably the exact shade it would be that week. I would add a rust wash, esp on the front edge of the glasis.and turret weld areas. The roadwheels should be as beat up as the paint on the hull sides... Nice work so far

Thank you all so far for your kind words. I will truly sleep better tonight knowing that I have completed another great model. Thank you all!
Anyway, I would have to agree on the wood. Although it looks pretty real on the tank. And it does because I say so. And what I say goes, around this place! Thanks again guys!
ANd that slogan, well, what can I say. I am a master slogan painter!

Is it just the lighting or the model is really painted in dark colors? Anyway, I like the marking on the side. Uneven strokes make it realistic just like a real soldier would paint it on his tank. Well done!
