I have a 1/35 Dragon Stug III G finished in Panzer yellow followed by coat of Future, decals and another coat of Future. Did initial chipping and planned to do hairspray with Tamiya White overspray for Eastern Front.
Here is where the stupidity comes in. I forgot to do the hairspray layers. Just came back to the booth and did the white overspray.
It came out beautifully and I can still work with it. The problem is the Balkenkreuz decal on each side is 50% covered with overspray. Again workable but for this version it was uncovered.
Is there anything that can be used to gently remove the paint over the decal without killing the Future/decal beneath it.
Any ideas would be appreciated. And yes I am an idiot!!!

Enamel thinners will remove acrylics also . Maybe try a cotton swab lightly moistened with enamel thinners , just be light handed and take your time .

I found better to use, WD-40 on a cotton swab.
Pass it gently over the decal.
Its more safe than thinners.

Many thanks for both suggestions. I tried the enamel thinner with qtips (very carefully) and it worked. Thank you again.
