While browsing Live Resin web site I have found the following picture of a SF humvee. I believe it is a M1113 GMV, isn't it?

I like the idea of building one of them but I am a bit confused about which Humvee kit I should take as the base.

As far as I understand the chassis is one of an M1025 but the front hood and engine grill are the one of an M1114; in addition the doors and the windshield are not from the M1025 nor from the M1114.

I believe I will have to make a lot of scratch build but I would like to keep it to the minimum.
On the other side I wouldn't like to spend for both a Tamiya M1025 and a Bronco M1114 or a Legend M1114 conversion set.

What do you suggest to me ?
Thanks in advance for your precious help.

Ettore - yes, this is M1113 GMV-S. Such model needs a lot of scratchbuilding and accessories. Please take a look at my WIP thread here:

It's in Polish, but photos are better than 1000 words
Of course You don't need all extra sets, which I've bought. But some of them are must-haves:
- Live Resin SAG turret and a nice weapon set,
- wheels to replace the kit's ones (for example DEF Model's BF Goodrich Baja wheels set),
- electronic stuff (for example Pro Art Models),
- new seats (Live Resin armored sets set or any new type ones, for example from Voyager or ET Model).
Generally - the best base is Tamiya's M1025. The Bronco's M1114's front grill and engine hood would make it easier, but You can scratchbuild the extended grill and rework Tamiya's hood.

Thank you Kuba for your suggestions.
By the way, you have done an outstanding work with your model and the construction history is a gold mine of information.

Kuba,
in your GMV build log I have seen that the rear bumper and tray are fotoetch by kelo83&tomcat28 (if Google Translate made the translation right).
Where can I purchase them ?

Kelo and Tomcat are Poles, two of this Polish Humvee forum users. The first one had started to design PE fret, the second one made it and sometimes sells frets to other forum users. I don't know, if Tomcat can send it to Italy. If You want, PM me - I'll ask him.
