I know, I want one too! Trumpeter has announced a 1/35 BMP-2; it's supposed to be released this November.

I have never built a modern soviet tank before, but have always wanted to build this model since I first saw it in books about desert storm. What other countries deployed this tank?I was hoping to do a Syrian model all beat up and worn.

Name a country that was friendly with the Soviet Union and chances are they had or have the BMP-2. The wikipedia article on the BMP-2 has a good list of users.
